Performance and Industrialization of Chinese (Sichuan) Hybrid Rice (O. sativa L.) in Burundi

In order to identify new hybrid rice variety with high yield and strong resistance suitable for industrialization development in Burundi, an experiment on of 38 materials from members Sichuan Seed Association (China) was conducted. the main local popular V3 used as control material (CK1), CXY506 import contrast (CK2). The results showed that most varieties provided by association were resistant blast, except TLYYH TF-137 varieties, more than 90% higher CK1, however, half tested had poor bacterial leaf streak, which reference exploration future such demonstration, commercial extension, seed production, breeding so on. And production implemented successfully, key data have been collected. a model established after accurate careful field operation different growth phase made Burundi possible. This will be great help China other countries breeders breed adoptable market managers avoid mistakes Burundi. useful improve agriculture economic developments.
